    This is a stampless letter from the 19th century. It is in very good condition and is postmarked "WILLIAMSPORT, PA".
    It is addressed to Josiah William Smith, ESQ of Clearfield, PA also known as Clearfieldtown.
    There was a wax seal at one time, but it must have been removed when the letter was opened.
