"PEPSODENT'S MOVING PICTURE MACHINE"
- (c)1938 Pepsodent Co./Walt Disney Enterprises. 8"x7"x4". Black & white litho on cardboard, with color litho on paper "flip" movie pictures.
This novel Pepsodent mail premium is designed as a "movie projector". The assembled "machine" works like an old-time "nickelodeon" machine, flipping a series of pictures which then appear animated.
One side features Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, reverse is Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck performing on stage. The main body section includes simulated gears and knobs with portraits of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Mickey, Minnie and Donald.
This is a PUNCHED ASSEMBLED EXAMPLE. It appears complete and operable (flip action is somewhat temperamental - sticks at times).
Condition is considered FAIR with moderate surface/edge wear. Miscellaneous surface creasing with several edge tears.
Overall, we feel this item is a very displayable example by most standards. An exceptional addition for any DISNEYANA and/or VINTAGE ADVERTISING MEMORABILIA collection. On a condition code scale of 1 to 10, the above listed item(s) rated - (7-6).
