CHESS BOARD SET ORIENTAL WOOD AND BRASS

Description

I have no idea as to its age other than I have had it for 40 years and it looked just like this when I got it.
I do not believe these are the original chess figures because the drawers do not close easily
when they are in there.
I do not know what the playing spaces are made of.  I touched one on an inconspicuous side with a hot pin
and it did not melt. They are very detailed.
With a little cleaning and polish it will be even more beautiful.
