    Description

This is a vintage, amber-brown bourbon whiskey bottle embossed with roses.  The vintage whiskey bottle is embossed, "Federal Law Forbids Sale or Re-use of this Bottle", then "D11 57-7".  The bottom of the bottle is embossed with the Owens-Illinois glass mark and the number "10".  The base of the bottle is marked, "One Quart".  The warning dates the bottle between 1935 and 1964.  Best guess, the number 57-7 is a date code, dating the bottle to 1957.  The original paper label is missing but the style is one utilized by the Franklin Distillery for Four Roses Bourbon.  My father, an avid bottle hunter, found the bottle in the ruins of an old house in Virginia more than 40 years ago.  The beautiful old whiskey bottle is in great shape, free from breaks or cracks.  Clarity is very good and the color deep.  The antique bourbon bottle measures about 11.75" tall and 3.5" wide.
Please note:  This is an empty bottle sold for display purposes.
