    Description

    Hammered repose Copper Tlingit Potlatch Ceremonial Decorative Spoon. Don’t have any history on this item other than it same out of a Juneau estate. Has a shaman on the bowl with a copper tinaa’. The shaman is holding a dagger and looking up towards the bear gripping the tinaa’. I believe the shaman is wearing a thunderbird headdress. This is a rare piece and not much repose is done anymore because it is so hard to work with copper and it’s very labor intensive. Unable to locate any signature or markings on the piece.
