Rare The Easel Writing Portfolio of Rudolph Sanderson – 1899

Description

RARE 1899 The Easel Writing Portfolio of Rudolph Sanderson, age 9, from the Hillside School in Cleburne, KS.  Rudolph’s practice writing begins in 1899 and continues through 1903 on these Roudenbush Writing Sheets.  There are (69) pages of practice writing and poems written by Rudolph Sanderson, (3) practice sheets from Aldred Sanderson, age 8, 1899, (1) page from 1897 written by Edith Johnson of Topeka, KS and (3) blank pages.
The Easel Writing Portfolio was made and patented by the Crane & Co. and was their Vertical Tri-fold Practice Writing System.
Meaning the student propped up the front end of the tri-fold to see the sample writing, practiced writing on the middle section and rested their arm on the third section.
This is over 120 years old and VERY RARE to have survived.
