    TDK DAT Tape is favored among industry professionals for both field and studio digital audio recording applications. An ultra-fine, high-density metal particle recording layer delivers high output while a durable back coating ensures low block error rates after multiple passes. The tape includes a durable polypropylene case for storage.
    All TDK DAT tapes are standard thickness with an advanced binder formulation to ensure consistently low block error rates. The precision engineered cassette shell discharges static quickly, resisting dust build-up, while a new improved design in the hub lock assembly creates a more efficient braking action, reducing tape slack when ejecting and hence providing better loading.
