Here we have TDK SA90 cassette tapes available.
You are bidding on one tape
, but I have many available if you need more. Just drop down the desired quantity. Tapes are exactly as shown- I will not ship any if their outer wrapper is torn. I think nearly all are rip-free, but just letting you know, you will receive a completely sealed tape, not an "opened but never used" tape, which I myself am always leery of.
These tapes are (in my opinion) the best version of this tape- the "1984" version. I think this was the pinnacle of the R&D on these tapes, as just a few short years later, CD promised to revolutionize the music world for us, and the investment into the shell designs basically stopped. They looked different, but didn't perform any better than these... Note the actual manufacture date may be later than 1984, and will not be known without opening the cassette and looking at the date code on the top spine of the tape. But I will say that the SA tapes were always the most consistent with regards to bias adjustments, and I prefer them to MA tapes, and not just because of the cost! The hiss is much lower and they can be pushed quite hard. The SA-X tapes are truly the best type-II tapes (double-coated), and I don't have many of those left.
I have some other tapes available I will be listing at some point, but I have more than I need of these, so I thought I'd share them with everyone.
